BIOGRAPHY OF ADIWARMAN KARIM

   Adiwarman karim was born in Jakarta 29 Juni 1963. His parents came from Padang , Sumatera barat. He had three brothers, and all were master of  law, except his self was master of economic. He was knew about religion education since little. Although he was educate in loyal circle family, while puberty he was opportunity plunged into free association. So, he more like went to caffe an discotic than studied at home. He studied on social economic major in IPB 1982, but his grades were low. So, he tried to discharged his self from free association. Then, he studied again on economic faculty Universitas Indonesia (UI) in 1983. In 1985, Adi’s father was dead cause cancer. Graduated from IPB (1986), Adi accepted schoolarship on master finance Boston University. In 1992, he graduated from Boston University with title MAEP. He had many creations, the examples like ; Ekonomi islam, Sejarah pemikiran islam, Analisis fiqih dan keuangan, Ekonomi mikro islam dan Ekonomi makro islam. Other creations above, Adiwarman had wrote 50 articels economic in forum national and international. Adiwarman began his carier on sector sharia banking in 1992 as litbang staf  Bank muamalat. In 1998, he led Bank Muamalat branch Bandung and rose level as first directur vice Muamalat institute until he exit in 2001. In 1999, he with fourty figures muslim Indonesian built The International Institute of  Islamic Thought (IIIT) Indonesia. In agustust 2001, he built sharia bussines consultan enterprice , this name was  Karim Consulting Indonesia. Karim Consulting Indonesia was pioneered inception unit sharia at some bank in Indonesia. In present, he have three childs from wedding with Rustika Thamrin.
